Burkina Faso. Każdego wieczoru prostytutki z miasta Bobo-Dioulasso w zachodniej części kraju, powierzają swoje dzieci pani Codzie, a następnie, aż do świtu, przechadzają się „Czarną” – tętniącą życiem aleją w centrum. Kamera obserwuje wszystkie aspekty ich życia: prace domowe, czas wolny, intymne chwile macierzyństwa, relacje z panią Codą. Kobiece doświadczenia są w centrum uwagi, mężczyźni w filmie prawie nie ma.

Burkina Faso. Every evening, prostitutes from the city of Bobo-Dioulasso in the western part of the country entrust their children to Mrs. Coda, and then, until dawn, stroll down the „Black”, a bustling avenue in the center. The camera observes all aspects of their lives: housework, free time, intimate moments of motherhood, and relations with Mrs. Coda. Female experiences are in the spotlight, and men in the film are almost gone.
